Kate Beard recently presented "An Event Based Approach For Ocean Observing Data: A Case Study on Stratification Processes in the Gulf of Maine",at the 2008 Ocean Sciences Meeting held in March in Orlando, Florida. The presentation represented the work with Heather Deese, a PhD Student in Marine Science. The work stems from an interdisciplinary NSF grant on Information Integration through Events that uses the Gulf of Maine Ocean Observing System (GoMOOS) dat aas a test case.
